12/25/15: Cristo Más

(Sorry for the delayed post!)

Merry Christmas y’all!  I’m keeping this one short but I hope everyone had a great Christmas.

This past week was incredible celebrating the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.  Here is a little Spanglish for y’all… Christmas… Christ-Más.  It literally means more Christ.  I hope everyone puts him in the center this holiday season and gives thanks to God for the biggest gift of all- His son Jesus Christ.  We can thank him for this wonderful gift by following him.
I had the wonderful opportunity to Skype my family today.  It was amazing to see their faces and hear their voices.  It felt like I had been with them just yesterday.  But then I remember all the wonderful, hard, and amazing things that have happened these past 7 months.  I would never change them for the world. And I’m so grateful for everyday that I get to walk outside with my name tag on and share with others the beautiful message of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ.

I love you all.  Have a very merry Christmas and I hope everyone celebrates “Christ” a little “mas” this holiday season!

Here’s a few more pictures from this week…

Hermana Romero and I took pictures seeing the lights at the temple where the MTC is also:

We had a Christmas Eve get-together with the other missionaries in our zone:

I found some old friends from my BYU ward, and got peanut butter for a white elephant gift!

I received a Christmas package from home and finally got to open it!

Don’t y’all worry, I tried everything on all at once just like I do at home. Thanks for my gifts. I loved them all!
My apartment wall is now covered with cards from my family and special arts and crafts!

I hope all of you had a merry Christmas.  Since our PDay was on Christmas, which is a Friday, I’ll write again next Monday!
